A family knitting mill in Łódź — a city that has lived off textiles for 150 years.
BerryBoat is a family-run knitting mill in Łódź, Poland. We design and produce beanies, neck warmers, scarves, headbands and knitted collections on flat-bed machines — under our clients’ brands (private label) and from their own designs. We work with natural yarns: merino, alpaca, cotton and bamboo. We combine two generations of knitting craft with a modern machine park, and we test our production quality the hardest way possible — by selling our products under our own brand to thousands of retail customers across Europe.
We started as a family brand: 1989, the first machines, our own designs and direct sales. Today we bring that same care to brands looking for a manufacturer in Europe — from the first sample to a production run with full branding. We are not an anonymous factory: on every project you talk to people who knit, wear and sell these products themselves. We operate in the spirit of slow fashion: made to order, no overproduction, with care for yarn leftovers and packaging.
